GT: Cavaliers vs. Spurs

When: 6:00 PM MT, Mar 27th 2017
Where: AT&T Center, San Antonio TX
This is an important one and real test for us if we really want to consider ourselves contenders.
The key to this one is going to be the Kawhi Lebron matchup. If Kawhi can get the better of Lebron we have a legit shot at winning this one.
Go Spurs!!

sanders or no sanders, this should be a automatic win for the spurs with the way the cavs have been playing lately...
then again as long kawhi takes a dump on lebron is all it matters....

I think whoever wins will win big; the Cavs are highly beatable when they're playing poorly, so we'd pull away early and Lue would sit the key guys, but if they're in 'prove ourselves' mode, they could overwhelm us. I think the lynchpin will be how the Cleveland guys just coming back from injuries respond to Saturday's loss.

lol lebron scoring most of his pts on dunks, cause he puts ball onto floor is easy steal for kawhi
drives for layup is easy block from help defense
tries shooting the ball praying it goes in,
most overrated player to ever play the game who has no goto move besides crab dribble bully move...

LOL lebron padding his stats as quick as possible when kawhi sitting on bench, then when he gets close to the triple double he starts to play serious?

Great win. We took it too them early and often and never gave them a chance to get back into it.
Everyone was solid. Kawhi and LMA were great on both ends (espically Kawhi just a wow game for him), Green played some great defense and the bench was outstanding. Manu was all over the place, Gasol was his super effective self, Patty was Patty and we got solid minutes from Lee and Anderson.

The only downside to this win is all the 'what's wrong with the Cavs?/Boston takes #1' stuff we're going to have to wade through for a bit.

To me the Cav's issues are obvious. They just don't seem to care right now, there's no sense of urgency in the way they play.
Maybe if their coach wasn't just Lebron's puppet this might not have gotten to this point...

Yeah, I agree; I think the
players will be ready to go once the postseason starts. The sense I have is that
Lue is the one who will be exposed in the playoffs.

I think they'll be okay once playoff time comes around but they'll have some issues in the later rounds. Both conferences are stronger at the top this year.

During a timeout, seeing Pop out there barking out orders and giving advice, then they pan to Lue, just silently standing there while Lebron is calling the shots.

kyle anderson needs more minutes man, his the difference that can exploit mismatches even when his passive offensively, but defensively can chuck him on any smaller player and watch him disrupt the guy trying to put ball onto floor into his hands...
