imo unless he is personally responsible for some incredible performance in this series against houston, he is gone in the off season. i dont know what we would get for him, maybe a 2nd round pick if we are lucky.

Seconded. He's not the problem.
While the amount of BWC going on is an overreaction to one game. (Where was this when we beat the Grizz in rd 1?) Our expected ceiling is the WCF this year (and will be until we add another MVP candidate or GSW breaks up), we'll see if we make it.
For the contract he's on - $10 M/yr - he's ok. This year WP48 0.141 (0.1 being an average player), 38.1 3FG% (league average for a wing being 35.9), and he's good defensively ( although with the ways refs are calling things, everyone gets roasted these day, it's just a matter of how badly...)
We'll see if Aldridge (our "2nd option" and highest paid guy at $21.5 Million) can pull his head out of his *** .

It's not gonna happen. Parker's not going anywhere.

Froob wrote:I don't think you can re sign him beyond his last year at least. Tough to push a franchise great out the door but as Danny Ainge proved it's the right move. I could just see Teague as a great fit and wouldn't be surprised if he isn't big on Indy.

Why not?
And Teague wouldn't be that great of a fit. We need defenders and shooters around Kawhi and Teague is neither of those things. I'd rather roll with Tony, Murray and Mills if we can resign him.

Sorry to see him go down, that sucks. Had a good start to the playoffs but seems to struggle against top competition in the playoffs. I'd concerned about re signing a 36 year old Parker to big money. Spurs gotta find another star. Maybe it'll be another home grown guy like Murray. Only OKC (and GS too I suppose) could argue they draft as well as the Spurs.

I doubt Tony will demand big money again, both Manu and TD took discounts to help the team improve so I wouldn't be shocked if Tony does the same. It's way too early to jump the gun and trade him for a stop gag especially with Murray poised to take on a bigger role next year.
Our best path forward at PG is to try and resign Patty and give Murray more minutes.
