The Spur's Big 3 History

I would like to ask Spur's fans if they could give a breakdown of which players were the leaders of the Spur's offense. I remember seeing some posts saying that Parker was the leader in those years and in other years it was Ginobili, and in the early years Duncan of course. Aside from that, if somebody could give an analysis of how Pop changed the offense to cater to the aging of the trio and of course, the evolution of the league.

I would also like to know your opinion as you were seeing the offense shift from Duncan to GInobili to Parker etc....

It's progressed. Early on it was definitely Duncan, then at times the reins were handed over to Manu and later on it became Tony's team when we started playing the pace and space style.

Yeah, as Nolan wrote, there have been periods where each guy was arguably the most important to the team's offense-- including one season (2008) in which Gino averaged 20, 5, and 5 despite coming off the bench for most of the year. He was surprisingly not an all-star that season, though he did pick up All-NBA third-team honors and the SMOY award.
