Yeah, I'm glad, too; Gino's love for the game is legendary.

I'm also glad that he's returning. Surely this will be final year, no?

Who knows really. His body is still holding up, which is kinda ironic because throughout his career people were waiting for him to fall to pieces.

I would of never guess Manu and VC would still be playing in their 40's.

Guy is playing NBA basketball. Not sure how that qualifies as a wasted year

I'm glad he is back.

Wilt, Kareem, D. Robinson, Hakeem, Jordan, Magic, Bird, Duncan, Kobe, Shaq, etc. each played many more years without a title than years with a title. Only Bill Russell consistently won titles. Manu is fortunate to have had such a successful career. I seriously doubt that Manu feels last year was wasted. Real competitors like Manu don't think this way.

As for your comment about the Warriors, you certainly don't speak for me when you say 'we'. The Warriors looked less experienced and less improved prior to Kawhi's unfortunate exit in G1 of the Spurs/Warriors series.

Manu & VC are similar in that 1) they were quite athletic (prime days), 2) well respected by teammates, and 3) loved by their fans.

You wanna know what I think -- you aren't a Spurs fan. Bait me one, shame on you. Bait me twice, shame on me.
