I don't know if people have been following but he has been playing well with the French Team at the Euros. I keep thinking he is a very underated pickup.

Yeah he's looked pretty solid so far. As has Davis.
Hopefully some of this translates like you said. Because we could use some solid minutes from him.

I think Lauvergne is going to be one of those Spurs role-players who makes subtle and key plays that lead to runs, and those contributions will increase winning chance in the game. Almost like an Horry-type as a stretch four, cutter, hustler around the paint.
I can see lineups like:
Mills/Murray/Green/Leonard/Lauvergne
Murray/Green/Leonard/Gay/Aldridge
Mills/Green/Leonard/Lauvergne/Aldridge
At times for two-way and stretch-versatility on both ends of the floor. I think he'll fit in nicely and be a key guy off the bench.

i think that whole feeling we had 'is this the best thing we could get in the off season' will end up being a bit of an overreaction. i am expecting him to be fairly consistent, not mind blowing but consistent. already seems like a good fit into the system.
