LMA extended, 3 years 72.3 Million

Not entirely sure how I feel about this yet. For a committed engaged LMA this is an absolute steal, he basically took 20 million less than Millsap got for basically the same deal.

But we still haven't seen a fully locked in LMA for a full season yet and that worries me a bit.

Obviously he talked his problems out with the team and they feel good about it so I'm optimistic. I'm pretty sure the team doesn't even think about doing this if they felt like we would be getting the same player as last year.

Very true. It really seems like everyone's on the same page... finally. Hopefully it all works out.

Also, he is now locked up at a fairly decent price so if they did decide to trade him he is much more valuable now.

Not sure what the guarantee on the last season is either. But at the very least it sounds like it's only partially guaranteed which make the contract that much better.
