Tony Parker has been sent on a rehab assignment to the Austin Spurs of the G-League.

Parker is returning from a ruptured quadriceps tendon during last season's playoffs.

Parker began full contact games of 2-on-2 and 3-on-3 last week.

Definitely happening far sooner than expected. We'll be just fine without him so there really isn't much of a rush but it's looking a return in 2017 is still a real possibility.

i think that Dejauntay Murray will be back on the bench when TP will feel fine ! Nect yr Murray will be the starting PG !

Parker should be riding the bench permanently at this point.

With the way Murray's playing right now it's going to tough to bench him. Kid is earning that starting spot right now.

Dont underestimate TP ! Murray is playing great, but he'll be back just like before his injury ! TP in last PO > Murray now
