The Hawks are 3-13 but we can't sleep on them. They play hard and they've played some close games against some good teams so far this season.
We just have to play our game and not play down to their level.
Go Spurs!!

Re: GT: Hawks vs. Spurs
This isn't to disparage the current Hawks because they're extremely young and the team is doing some good things consistently so far ie/ steals and assists as MB instills the Spurs-lite system, but the twenty-game wining streak at home vs. Atlanta over a twenty-year by the Spurs is worthy of acknowledgement.
The turnovers were too high once again, something to work on; the rebounding was excellent. I'm loving LMA's consistency, and that even though Kawhi's irreplaceable, Anderson is improving in the role and different guys step up without excuses. The SG trifecta of Forbes with a solid contribution, Manu doing his magic, and Green with key 3s helped pull away from a determined Hawks team.
We won a game we should have won - show up, do what you're capable of, but it's good to see the team doing the right things despite playing what a record would indicate to be an opponent. On to the next one...
It'll be interesting to see how the Spurs counter the Swiss army knife that is AD, and the enigma that is DC. We've got the diversity and discipline in our line-up to counter their main weapons, but that dynamic presents a different and potentially dangerous challenge.
