I just want to hug Kawhi and Pop. What a weird roller coaster ride with freak injuries this season. Please, basketball gods, let this be something he can heal from rather than it needing something invasive to cure. It's been tough as it is with him and others in and out of the line-up, so keeping my fingers crossed for some much needed health and consistency to get us set for the post-season.

This sucks but we are still in "Lets Be Patient" time. I still believe March is when playoff teams really need to start getting things together. If we can just hang in the top 4 of the west until then we got a shot.

I know we were initially told in training camp that Kawhi's injury was minor but it really turned out to be a major injury somewhat similar to Parker's. We were lucky to get Kawhi back and playing as soon as we did but you could obviously tell he wasn't 100%.

The same can be said about Rudy Gay and Tony Parker's injuries. We got both of them back way earlier than expected this year(both were projected not to be ready until Jan.) and while it was nice to see them contribute, you could also obviously tell they both aren't 100% yet.
I think people forget, that playing through or overcoming an injury or playing without an injury are two completely different things. We have at least 3 guys who are just healthy enough to play with injuries but all 3 are very far from being able to play freely without re-injuring themselves.

We still have some time. I'm not in worry mode just yet. Plus this team's bench just keeps getting valuable lessons in the meantime.
