GT: Spurs (45-32) vs. Clippers (41-36)

Post#1 » by Nolan » Tue Apr 3, 2018 4:34 pm

When: April 3rd, 2018 8:30 PM MT
Where: Staples Center, Los Angeles CA

This will be another crucial one in our quest to lock up the 4th seed. The Clippers still have a shot at the playoffs so they still have a reason to show up tonight.

We need to play our game, control the pace and play solid defense.

Go Spurs!!

We need to translate our home success on the road, simple as that. It's been too much of Jekyll & Hyde, and so some consistency and intensity to get some much needed road wins are in order.

About out starting line-up:

As for who's not on the roster, it's still "... and then there was one."

Looks as if Gallo is now out along with Milos and Evans for our opponents.

We can only control our portion of outcomes, but we may be able to secure a playoff spot tonight, if results align:

We need 48 minutes of all out on both ends.

ANOTHER 40+ quarter given up, and another lead gone due to not taking care of the ball late in the game. This is the mental side of the game that we are still not breaking through on the road. We had no business losing this one, but too many defensive mistakes and missed shots accumulated to cost us a much needed win, this against a depleted team. Disappointing loss of mental focus. It's just bizarre how out of sync we can look on the road. We had the lead and started to revert to bad habits, which simply have no place at this late stage of the season. We need to regroup and do it quickly. I hate the loss and how we lost it; I still love our team.
