A little humour to lighten the mood. Wonder who we're looking at?

If TP was concerned about not getting minutes if he resigned with the Spurs, he could've had all he could ask for with all the injuries...

Spurs are trimming the roster. I was surprised that Okaro had the shot range he showed yesterday, but he had limited game minutes and I think we have guys with his skill set. Johnson didn't have a steady showing in his court time so I'm not that surprised he's been waived. I guess this means we'll be looking elsewhere for a third PG. Best of luck to both of them going forward:

Johnson was signed on Sept. 24 and averaged 1.5 points and 1.0 assists in 7.4 minutes over four games with the Spurs this preseason. White signed on Sept. 24, averaging 3.3 points and 1.3 rebounds in 6.0 minutes in three preseason games with the Silver and Black.

San Antonio’s roster now stands at 16 players.

Spurs and point guard situation

Post#227 » by bigmean » Sat Oct 13, 2018 8:52 pm

They really need another point guard do you bring in mario chamlers? Or jarrett jack or shane larkin... do you consider matthew fisher or rob gray.

Or do they train belinelli ir more likely forbes to play some spot minutes.

My deal is sign and trade with cody lalanne you sign 1.9 million and trade him and toronto first round pick for tj McConnell... and brett brown does pop one last solid i similar can be made Raul Neto

We’re not giving up a first round pick to get some PG injury relief.

I think Jarrett Jack is an interesting idea though. Vet guard, still can contribute in the right system. Help get us through the season.

In a busy Spurs news day, this Hallelujah is confirmed. May it so remain:

Gay should be good to go for Spurs opener
All signs point to forward Rudy Gay playing in the Spurs' season opener Wednesday night against Minnesota.

Gay sat out the preseason finale against Orlando last Friday with what the team called a sore right heel, but he had full participation in practice Monday and should be good to go against the Timberwolves.

"I think he is doing well," Gasol said. "He practiced today and did well, looked good. I think he is just managing (the heel) so it doesn't become any-thing difficult or major that keeps him out."

I love the Talavera Spurs design, and really like that it's being used on fan merchandise. It would be awesome if fans could buy the actual tiles, too.

For me it's another season of treadmilling. Kawhi hurt us a lot, yeah...but the FO managged it in a terrible way...if you're contending Demar and Poetl doesn't make sense because we aren't going anywhere. Instead, if you're retooling or rebuilding we are limiting us in a hard way because the roster is still good to fight for a PO position.
When this account gets more "And1"s than posts written ...then my life will be complete. And maybe it will be the right time to hang it up. (Achieved on 2017-2018 season)...but still here.
