Report: Spurs will add Euro coach Saša Obradović to Summer League staffPop’s bringing some more Serbian fire to his staff in Utah and Las VegasObradović is currently the head coach of VTB United League’s PBC Lokomotiv Kuban in Russia. After leading his club to the Russian Cup championship, he was named EuroCup Coach of the Year after his team reached the Euro Cup Finals on a record-breaking 20-game winning streak before losing to Turkish club Darüşşafaka Spor Kulübü in the title game....
For now, this just looks like a summer job and not a full-time hire for the Spurs....
https://www.poundingtherock.com/2018/6/11/17448618/report-spurs-will-add-euro-coach-sa-a-obradovi-to-summer-league-staffMore on Obradović:
The 7DAYS EuroCup Coach of the Year for the 2017-18 season is Sasa Obradovic of Lokomotiv Kuban Krasnodar. Euroleague Basketball's in-house experts chose Obradovic from the many deserving candidates after he led Lokomotiv to an unprecedented 20-0 start to the campaign while instilling in his players the will to be one of the best defensive forces the competition has ever seen. Obradovic has helped Lokomotiv make history by bringing his team to the EuroCup Finals undefeated – a first. Lokomotiv's 20-0 record ties the longest overall winning streak in competition history, which Lokomotiv had previously set from 2013 to 2015. This season, Lokomotiv beat three playoffs teams twice each – Grissin Bon Reggio Emilia, Herbalife Gran Canaria and Buducnost VOLI Podgorica – and has the best defensive numbers in the EuroCup in both points and shooting percentages allowed to its opponents. With his team's efforts to rewrite the record books still in progress, Coach Obradovic is a more than deserving choice for 2017-18 7DAYS EuroCup Coach of the Year.
The 7DAYS EuroCup Coach of the Year honor is part of an awards structure designed to recognize the finest EuroCup participants for their efforts throughout the season. Dzanan Musa of Cedevita Zagreb was already named the 7DAYS EuroCup Rising Star Trophy winner for this season. Euroleague Basketball's in-house experts will also select the All-7DAYS EuroCup first and second teams, as well as the 7DAYS EuroCup MVP.
This season, Obradovic has turned Lokomotiv into a winning machine with outstanding defense and a patient, organized offense in which a lot of players feel important. Lokomotiv has held opponents to 68.7 points per game until now, fewer than team's defense has allowed in the EuroCup since 2015. Lokomotiv let other teams hit just 46.3% of their two-point and 29% of their three-point shots – both of which are lows in the competition. It ranks second in defensive rebounds (26.1 per game) and seventh in blocks (2.7), as well. Lokomotiv has a balanced offense, with nine of its players average between 6 and 12 points for a team average of 82.7 points on 55.3% shooting from inside and 37.6% from outside the three-point line. As a result of its great efficiency at both ends of the floor, Lokomotiv is on track to either become the EuroCup's first unbeaten champion or finish the season with the competition's best record ever. The previous best record was by Lokomotiv's 2014-15 team, which went 19-1 without winning the title. In 2008, DKV Joventut Badalona went 18-1 on the way to lifting the trophy. Now, Lokomotiv is attempting to win its second EuroCup title and to do so in gold letters.

Some info about Drew, 21, a 6'10" C from Oregon State:
Eubanks averaged 13.2 points, 6.8 rebounds and 1.7 blocks per games as a junior. All those numbers were down from the previous season, but his offensive role diminished with the return of Tres Tinkle from a broken wrist and the addition of other offensive options like freshmen Ethan Thompson and Alfred Hollins.
Although his block totals were down from the previous year, Eubanks' rim protection and improved defensive decision-making earned high praise from his coaching staff.

We're not defending the P&R well right now. Jazz are getting it almost every time they run it.

We're rebounding well, though. White beasting... hitting those beautiful 3s that don't even move the netting.

9-0 (maybe 9-2?) run for us, followed by a 12-0 run for them. You could see what we're trying to run, but it's looking loose and not quick enough and Jazz are stopping it. Our shooting % isn't stellar either. Hardy TO. Let's see how we regroup.

Sweet shot by Putney, but we're getting it taken to us.

We're getting outclassed in just about all facets of the game, frankly. Bad FG%, 3FG%, FT%, outrebounded badly, just nowhere near as prepared as the Jazz look. There's no sugarcoating it.
The lone bright spot:
