The second and last of our mini-road trip. Establishing our road identity is a work in progress. Looking for cohesion throughout the five-man unit with smart and intense play on both ends.
WHERE: Staples Center, Los Angeles, CA
WHEN: Monday, October 22, 2018, 9:30pm (CT)
GO SPURS GO!!!

Due to real-life stuff and ongoing frustration over the Leonard calamity, the Murray injury and the Oakland dynasty, I've had a very hard time getting motivated for the season. This will be the first NBA game I watch this year, so I couldn't have picked a better one (...unless I'd picked the HOU-LAL game the other night).
Let's get it, Spurs.

Glad you're back! Honestly think about it, this season is going to be way more interesting than if we would have just kept Leonard IMO.

Some defensive strength inserted into the starting line-up, and LMA at C tonight.

Congrats. That was a fun game to watch. DeMar was great most of the game.
Always nice to see LeBron get shambled.

Great win!
Is LMA/DeMar our best 1-2 punch offensively since early TD/Admiral? Possibly better? Those teams weren't scoring 143, maybe over 2 games.
Bryn Forbes has icewater in his veins. He is just not afraid of the moment.
LMA started the season wearing those butt ugly Jordan 33's, now he's switched to older Jordan's. Wonder why? Uncomfortable possibly?

I owe Patty an apology after being critical of his shot selection during the Blazers game. Big time shot. Forbes coming of age, Demar's passing. Everybody contributed in some way. I love this team.
Imagine allowing 142 points and still taking home the win, good grief. The new NBA is wild.
