Congratulations to LaMarcus! So well deserved. He's been our main cog for a while now, settling in to the role and making it his own as he took on the mantle of shouldering the team with his steady demeanour, high quality play, and solid character. Very happy that he's a Spur, and representing us at the All Star game.

We're proud of our guy; DeMar deserved to make it, too, but with such backcourt depth in the conference, someone was going to get snubbed. Still, I think an easy case can be made for DD over Klay, and the Ws haven't been superior enough to put them in that 'automatic three all-stars' territory this season, in my opinion, so it feels like a snub.

What do y'all think of the Wade/Dirk thing? To me, it feels half-baked and tacked-on; nice sentimentality and I'm all for honoring active legends, but the notion needs more work.

I get it, but they could just as easily give them a standing ovation plus video tributes during the game. I'd rather they gave those spots to someone who deserves them. It's not like these guys lack All Star selections or something. I might be wrong and it might go back further than that, but this trend of voting in greats who are about to retire started with MJ, then Kobe and now Dirk and Wade.
Where's the line if we keep lowering the bar like that?

Overall I'm against it, but I get why there's no outrage over it
