The good guys continue to mystify... are they the team that just ran off nine straight wins, including victories against four of the league's top five records? Or are they losers of four of their last six, with three of those losses coming against sub-.500 squads?

It makes a game like this, which paper says is an easy win, a quantity unknown. One thing's for sure, at least: those of y'all who haven't seen Trey Young play are in for a treat. He gets overshadowed a bit by the Luka hype-train, but he's a special talent and a future star, in my opinion. Another future star, MIP candidate John Collins, won't be in action tonight (load management), but that works to our advantage, so here's hoping for a big win as we jostle with the Thunder for the 7th seed; go Lakers (OKC is hosting them), and more importantly:

The first of a back-to-back home/road split gives us another opportunity to reset our defensive principles and offensive cohesion as we solidify our position. We've had aspects of our game in and out of sorts at different times of late, so we'll need to start strong, put together a team-wide effort, and remain ever vigilant, especially in end-of-quarter execution. Communicating, moving well, making the most of our rebounds and finding our collective shot will go a long way in ensuring that we protect home court tonight and set the right tone going forward.
