Here we are on this exciting cusp, looking out at the opportunity before us and the chance to rise to the challenge. To make sure we protect home court for the final time in this first round, we have to earn our way through, implementing lessons and adjustments with heart and hustle for every second of every play.

Details and fundamentals are key. Protecting the ball on rebounds and smart possessions is, too. Communicating and rotating to close out and prevent 3s and drives are surely important. Making sure we move with and without the ball, and pass crisply and with purpose for good to great made drives and shots from close and 3 range team-wide is crucial.

At the heart of it all, what will get us through is a fighting spirit, that perseverance and resilience to stay the course together, pushing forward, no matter what - finding a way to play our best.

This series is still winnable but I'll be satisfied with this season either way. This is a learning process for a lot of our guys and they must go through this.

I am however, still a bit disappointed to this point with our vets who should know and play better. I expect DeRozan, Aldridge and Gay to have big roles tonight for us to extend the series.

If it wasn't for White going off unexpectedly in Game 1, this series would have been over already.

I'm honestly coming to the opinion that Demar getting traded to the Spurs was perhaps for the best for him.

Thus far he's elevated his game in the Playoffs scoring efficiency wise. Glad to see it.
