It's been aaaa-while since we've been without LMA for four consecutive games. Don't recall it. Fingers crossed he's ready by the time this game comes:

Not ideal. He was earning more minutes, too. Heal fully and quickly, Lonnie!

No word on the return timeline from the Spurs, but DJ did have an MRI to confirm the injury.

So here's our situation now:

Good news, though. Beli is no longer on the IR, so it looks like he's back.

LMAO!

Murray is someone that needs to play and prove something so that's not good.
Even though its useless, Belinelli can play all he wants now because he helps us lose games

LMAO that's the spirit! I'm pleasantly surprised to hear you've not totally given up on DJ. I'm willing to place a friendly wager he'll reward your patience next season. Beli, well, he wasn't getting hardly any minutes when healthy, but still, good off ball, good for the occasional 3 and fouls - we actually used Q for that in a game Beli missed. Wait Beli's in the game just now hahaha!

Well I get your point about no-man's land. Enough players have hinted at everyone being on the same page on D this season that it's clear who stands out. So it's definitely something we'll have to address this summer (with better results than last summer).

Also, they just said on the broadcast of tonight's game that if Spurs and DD can't come to a contract agreement he'll opt out and become a FA. If we can get some kind of S&T asset(s) back for him then that's ideal. But even if not, so be it. We have enough guards who have learned what they have from him and can take the space to grow. Onwards!

Thought I'd get to this sooner, and perhaps moot right now, but I have hope the season will resume:

Message from RC Buford on COVID-19
The health and safety of all guests is a top priority for Spurs Sports & Entertainment.

SS&E Family –

In light of the global COVID-19 outbreak, we want to reassure you that the health and safety of all guests is a top priority for Spurs Sports & Entertainment. We are taking precautionary steps during this situation to provide a clean, safe, and comfortable environment at Spurs, Rampage, SAFC, and Austin Spurs games, as well as concerts and special events.

We remain in constant contact with local officials to ensure that we are doing what is best for San Antonio and our community. To date, there are no confirmed cases of community-transmitted COVID-19 in San Antonio or Bexar County. We will continue to monitor this situation closely and will make decisions based on what is best for guests, staff, partners, and teams.

Finally, please take the time to learn more about COVID-19 on the CDC’s website: https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/index.html. If you don’t feel well, stay home, monitor your temperature, and contact your healthcare provider. If you see anything that needs to be addressed while attending one of our events, please find a member of our team, text “Care” to 69050, or call guest services at 210-444-5140. We are here to assist each of you, and to provide you with the best possible experience at every Spurs Sports & Entertainment event.

Thank you for being part of our community and for your continued support.

But as it pertains to our Spurs:
The first Spurs game to be affected was slated for Friday against Denver at the AT&T Center. A practice session scheduled for Thursday morning was also scuttled.

Buford: Spurs support NBA decision to suspend season
In the first public statement issued by the Spurs since the NBA announced Wednesday night it was indefinitely suspending the 2019-20 season as a safeguard against the coronavirus, chief executive officer R.C. Buford made it clear the franchise was on board with the decision.

“The health and well-being of our fans, partners, staff, and players will always be our number one priority,” Buford said. “All of us at Spurs Sports & Entertainment fully support the NBA’s decision to suspend the season.”

“We remain in constant contact with a wide range of local and national experts and will continue to make informed decisions based on their research, data, and input,” he said. “Because this is a situation that changes hour-by-hour we don’t have a lot of answers at this point. We will continue to share information as it becomes available.

“We thank our entire Spurs Family for your continued support, patience, and understanding during this time.”

After the league suspended play, the Spur cancelled their Thursday morning practice.

Through a spokesman, the Spurs had no comment about what further procedures — if any — would be necessary following the Nets’ revelation.

A bit of an outlier here - Spurs media have been keeping fans entertained with Q&As (Derrick), some update tidbits (Sean), and a look back at some great games throughout our history (George Gervin and RC). As to the latter, a little levity as Patty posted this:
