Great interview. Manu's always a receptive and insightful communicator, and it's nice to hear about his off-court goings on and opinions about the league. On twitter he has talked about his sleep issues and research (book recommendations, etc.). You can tell with all the various activities he's done that it's part catching up and part finding the 'what's next'. Plus all the hanging out at the Spurs facility hints at his wanting that camaraderie.

It seems that Tony's had this stage planned out well in advance. He owns a French women's team, and has also started a financial investment firm (something in that area), so he's keeping busy.

Nice to see them both doing well, hanging out together, and getting a glimpse into the paths they're on.

You've got to love these guys. Tremendous professionals with so much basketball knowledge still to give. It must be difficult to detach from playing a sport and being part of a team culture you've been part of for so long, particularly one that feels like a family as the Spurs do, I've no doubt that's a big part of why Duncan returned despite loathing the limelight as he does.
