Hopefully we're recharged for the next RRT challenge after some rest and film. Nobody is going to make it easy for us or take it easy on us. We have to be ready, play with some pride, execute down the stretch, and flat out refuse to be outworked. Let's get after it!

Bryn starting. Bryn getting caught on D and scored on.

We keep settling for outside shots early in games - need to drive and force our game.

Good start, but we must be mindful of details - fundamentals on shots to make sure we finish at the rim, hustling after D boards, watching for help D to rotate quickly enough.

We drive, we get good results. We shoot from outside, we miss now. Pretty clear we need to drive more...

I know as the game changes it gets harder and harder to guard on the perimeter but too often our supposed good and great defensive guards in White and Murray look very poor.

Maybe it's because Spurs D has always been a team effort and Forbes, Mills and Derozan are three of the worst in the league. I dunno.

We just have this knack of opposing team's players lighting us up over and over.

Losing Kawhi for Derozan hurt on defense more than anything obviously and we've never recovered.

Losing out on Morris turned out to be huge.

Then on offense we really need White to become a three point gunner to be able to play him and Murray together and then need Murray to become consistent with at least wide open 2s and 3s. At the moment he is looking like a peak Rondo with his jumpshot success and that isn't going to cut it as a starter.

I kind of want to see LA and Derozan shut down with injury concerns to just throw the young guys in there.

Metu is short for his position but he is quite athletic and seems to want to become a long two threat so let's see. That's something Jakob can't or won't do.

Let Walker start the rest of the year and get all or most of his turnovers and bad decisions out of the way now when they don't matter.

And bring in Luka. The kid had 28 pts the other day, a couple of threes, some impressive alley oops and drives from the 3pt line as well. He'd be starting for a bunch of the bottom teams around the league at this stage of the tank, so it's disappointing that we seem to be so strict on bringing people up slowly.

And Kyle Anderson, Danny Green, Dedmon, Simmons -- they were all versatile defenders with length, size, and toughness. Especilaly Anderson and Green.

The team's entire defensive platoon and identity was cleared out indirectly in Summer 2018, and its never really been back. Sans Murray and Aldridge. But those swing positions and multi-position coverage defenders that you need to be a solid and good or better defensive team -- huge.

Like I've said, this team is far too small from 1-3 + not solid and attributed enough defensively at the same time. Offensive bias on one hand, which is relatively limited, and then defensive limitations on the other.
