Well, here's hoping we look a little more in sync despite the line-up changes, play more disciplined D, execute our O sets, and stay healthy throughout. I like that we're giving the younger guys more minutes, and with two depleted teams, it should be an interesting tilt to see how we manage cohesion while developing our young core.

Drew Eubanks is, in fact, a G-Leaguer and continues to play like it, especially on D. Total sieve if he's not blocking a shot.

Requisite 'we know what we have with DD an Bryn'. Not doing what they're out there for on O. DD to his credit actually ran out at 3 shooters aggressively, and made an effort to be in the right place on D. I saw it. It's true.

I know it doesn't count, but I thought we could have taken this one.

Really liking the DJ, Derrick, Lonnie experiment, though not sure we can have them at the 1-2-3 with the three being basically the same height.

DJ needs to work on his court vision and passing. Sometimes settles for the one and done shot off a screen. Derrick is noticeably better at it still.

Derrick had himself a great game showing all around contribution from 3, Js, drives, FTs, passes, blocks, steals. Just a great game. Needs to work on his turnovers and ball handling, but these will come in time. Better, more decisive decisions with the ball.

Bryn and DD - we know what we have with them. You know how Patty hasn't played yet? These two need to not play next game. Frustrating. Bryn with his hands down to contest a shot, called for a travel because midair he changed his mind and couldn't decide whether to shoot or pass before his feet hit the ground. Jesus. It's all coming back. Either he regressed or I just got numb to it throughout the year. Glad he is not starting now. Thanks for that scrimmage tech, DD. 1-7 at that point. Finished at 2-8 - fewest made FGs on the team. Jesus.

Rudy's combination of bobbled defensive rebounds that gave away three possessions, and errant Js were irritating, too. I recall him driving a couple of times, but felt he settled for outside shots too much when he had a chance to get to the basket.

Liked that Jakob was in the right place at the right time much of the game. His little pop-a-shot in the key looks better, more accurate. Good rebounding, too. Drew is a sieve on D in terms of getting driven on but he does have good timing on blocks and O reb putbacks.

I am loving all of what Keldon has to bring. LOVING IT! He needs more shots.

Beli was Beli, solid shooting, actually got a steal, too. He played within himself, fulfilled his role well.

Lonnie's burst and finishing at the rim are both impressive. Great form on his outside shot.

I thought our D was better today - we didn't have those three defenders on a ball handler situations, rotated better, but got caught on the P&R a bit. They have a size advantage so alley oops were more prevalent, and we need to guard the arc better. Too many turnovers again at 24, and too many fouls to give them 37(!) FT attempts, hitting 28. There were many flimsy foul calls, but still, we need better discipline. We did shoot 24-28FTs, so much better effort getting to the line, and these were well distributed team-wide.

They made 14 3s to our 11 (26 attempts), but put up 44 (!) to get them. Just not great basketball.

Metu is erratic, but speedy and a pogo stick with that block.

Luka - I'm still pulling for him, but he seems too slow with his feet and gets driven by too easily. He's responsible on D, but needs for his body to catch up to his mind. We need to get him to score at least one basket this season.

I'd love it if we just let all vets except Beli rest and give the young guys the full run next game.
