PG – Duke – Ht – 6-3 – Wt – 185 – Wing – 6-5 – So – A dynamic play-maker with a great feel for the game and the ability to make his teammates better. Gets after it on defense and always makes the right play.

We're clearly going after strong defense.
We've showed we can score and score well, and we were frustrated on the defensive end. So that's being taken care of now.
Interesting that we took another guard, specifically a PG...

I think it's another good move by the Spurs. Like his brother here in Memphis, Tre is the definition of a tradition PG who can get his teammates in good positions to get the right shot and is very vocal in his position. He's profiled as a potential backup PG. Very reliable and a solid winner.

Interesting pick.. team kind of actually needs a pure-ish PG, and thats been missing in the new system without the Tony/Manu backcourt. Whats good is he has good overall size for a PG, and should be disciplined coming out of Duke.
He improved his shooting range to legit from poor and was the ACC DPOY supposedly. Sounds like a really nice pick in the higher 2nd round.

Taking care of business! Glad Tre is signed to a guaranteed contract, though interesting that it's to a three-year one which aligns with the lengths of Jakob and Drew's contracts:
