Road weary but energized by finding the extra gear, let's keep the momentum going, start strong, and stay firing on both ends. We have our full team today so there's both more strength and versatility as well as opportunity for more balanced minutes. Even with reinforcements, there are some challenges: We're playing well but cannot take any opponent lightly; this is the first of a final back-to-back to book end the RRT so a strong push and a team-wide effort are a must to get the good result.

Too much reliance on outside and one and done shots. We need to keep moving off ball and drive hard at them. Let's go, Spurs!

p.s. And let's guard the arc better, ok? Good, thanks!

Pass up 3 wide open threes to have Gay take an off balance fade-away. :banghead:

Good to have DeMar back. He takes up a lot of attention.

When we've spread the floor and kept moving off ball we've done a great job cutting and finding cutters. I thought we settled for outside shots too much in the 1ST Q, but really started driving at them more.

Really stingy shadow D by us to force passes and and get steals.

Pop all fiery on the sidelines staying on us when we make mistakes. Love it! We need it. Can't get complacent.

Lonnie hasn't played. I wonder if he's nursing a sore hand from last game?

Nice to see the young guys get minutes. Interesting to see Tre get minutes ahead of Q, and Trey going from starter to bench to no minutes. All over the place for him, but that's the challenge for guys in the hunt for minutes.

Speaking of minutes, really nice distribution. Our bench just needs to get going more.

Keep it up, Spurs!!!

We let up too much towards the end of the 3RD Q as they chipped into our lead. We need to keep the foot down on the assertive and scoring pedal for the final 12!

PHEW! Thank God for Keldon Johnson and for DeMar returning tonight.

I had hoped we could get the young guys in but we gave them some breathing room in the 3RD Q and they kept chipping away. When we win, the inbounds plays are good experiences, but we need to better prepare what we do in those situations. Besides these, a 44-point Q against shows some breakdowns before those full court presses. But we did enough for enough of the game - including late to score enough to stay ahead. Lots of minutes to key players to get this one, but we had to take full advantage tonight.
