The first of an important back-to-back is the second game versus this opponent: win this game; win this series. Both teams are without key rotation pieces, but we and our crowd have some extra motivation tonight to help make up for ours. We need to bring lessons of recent games and get off to strong starts by imposing our D-based, O-movement play. Staying focused on the task at hand while feeding off the crowd energy should help us get the result we want.

WAY too tentative a start. Just basic mistakes and poor choices - allowing their drives inside, late recovery and rotations for their open 3s. Then we drive into walls inside before even moving their D first. IMPOSE OUR GAME, SPURS!

That POS gets away with push and arm shove after push and arm shove. Needs a lesson.

No - #2. He does so blatantly with refs watching it's shocking. He locked Drew's arm which was a dangerous play considering Drew jumped up and fell forward going after a rebound. Keldon is hard to push and he's not one to hunt for fouls and he's being tossed back with off arm shoves and shoulders to the chest. Meanwhile they drive and we can't touch under our basket even as they jump into us as we're vertical - Derrick and Jakob, for instance.
It's not why we're losing, but a player can't get away with these things. It's dangerous. Karmically dangerous.

A better 2ND Q effort but we took our foot off the pedal towards the end. We are still not giving it our full effort.
DD is leading us in scoring but is a team-worst -23 because his D is really bad tonight.
We cannot make mistakes either - one bad rotation and drive by with no help D and we pay for it.
Protect our arc!
Bring our best game here, Spurs!!!

DeMar has not helped in this game. He slowed the game down when we needed to push it to prevent their D to set up, his man kept getting by him off ball, bad passes, missed shots, bad man D, and we keep getting into spurts with him on the bench where he's looking somewhat checked out.
Play guys who are having an impact.

Not with a bang but a whimper. We need to get our energy going in upcoming games. 0-3 with similar patterns at a bad time. There's never a good time, but we have to find it within ourselves to play better like we've shown before that are capable of.
