No time to dwell which is just as well. We have another opportunity to win this series. Simply put, limiting 3s against and making more of our own is central to our cause. Ball protection, boxing out, and rotating quickly on one end and transition oriented movement on the other are the ways we get there. Let's get after it!

WHERE: AT&T Center, San Antonio, TX

WHEN: Thursday, March 25, 2021, 7:30pm (CT)

Earn The Stripes Mode: Good to great on both ends for the whole game with a Fiesta flavour tonight!

I forget at times that players are human and get tired and when they do they make mental mistakes. Well we've made some bad passes and taken too many ISO / one-and-done shots, but a lead is a lead.

If we could tap into deep reserves and find the energy to rotate just a bit better and drive hard at them, we'll be in good shape to increase our lead.

I like that the younger of the young guys are stepping up, too - Luka and Devin.

We're actually protecting the ball much better tonight. Just have to make sure we limit their second chances by securing the D rebounds.

Keep pushing forward, Spurs!

Jakob's a bit of a Shrek out there whacking our own players. Derrick looks shaken up.

Who, by the way, is supposed to guard PG? Anyone? ANYONE?! Put a body on him, Spurs!

Derrick lost a tooth. We found it. He's back!

13 points in the 3RD Q. Thirteen. We need to dig deep here. Just find a way to win the final Q by at least 5 points as of now.

Well there are some concerns to address. We were just running on fumes in the second half. And beyond that, we are settling for automatic shots, meaning we're not thinking our way through the O and so there's less movement, too many ISOs, too many one-and-done shots, and over-orchestrating when the sets are disrupted. All signs of fatigue both physical and mental, but also the toll of the season's challenges setting in.

Luckily in lieu of proper rest at least we have six more games to right the ship.

And right now I still blame Quinn for the Covid spread which threw off our team for those handful of games missed, our players for coming back slowly, and this second half of the season packed with a tight tough schedule as a result. It may not be fair or it may not be on him, but I'm going with circumstantial/temporal being causal because I need something or someone to blame and without further info, it points to him. It's all your fault, Quinn. (It's not, but I'm just venting).

Grey, you know I like about your takes after games. But I'm gonna ask you about one name not in a Spurs uniform this time. Wha's your take on our sophomore Terrence Mann after those btb matches?

I kinda see him lightweight Keldon.

Hi Cap, As you know I mostly focus on what we're doing on any given night, but when an opponent's name keeps coming up it resonates and sticks as someone who is doing something that we should be paying more attention to.

He's a hustle guy, good D, and I think right now an even better passer than Keldon in terms of touch and vision. He's got good ball handling skills, too, which as a SG you'd expect. Good body control finishing at the rim, gets into right spaces at the right times off ball. Inefficient scorer right now, but a high FT% bodes well for higher % from the 3 in the future. Keldon's more of a bulldozer with a bigger body he can impose on opponents (though his touch and variety of finishing at the rim are improving), but like Keldon, Mann just knows how to get rebounds.

Really nice complementary rotation piece especially for a second rounder. I don't know what LAC development is like but Lue's been giving him minutes this season so hopefully his O game polishes over time.

I mostly recall thinking Mann is somebody going to box out that guy or what?! See what I did there? Sorry haha...
