The second of three matches versus this opponent is proving crucial now. Not only do we need a bounce back game to re-establish some good consistency, but winning this game gives us a chance at winning the series later. To those ends, we have reinforcements returning to infuse us with some versatility and energy. The more weapons we have, the stronger our attack. And it must start on the defensive end: good communication, crisp rotations, hard closeouts, and solid ball protection. With these as our foundation, taking the first best shot, driving with more physicality, and using our transition game are central to our goals tonight.

Other than DD who's slowing the team down to his pace and finishing too soft near the rim - they are prepared for his pump fakes - we are pushing it and driving assertively. Nice to see.

Solid start - better pace and transition points, much better 3s, much better contesting by us from the arc, just need to get better at the P&R defense a bit more and get to the FT line more.

VERY solid start! LOVE our D intensity - better P&R coverage with not allowing the easy switch but getting at the action up high and contesting easy hand offs. Patty has been terrific in that regard. We're just reading these better overall and are better prepared even when their PGs do get the switch on Jakob. He's been wonderful in reading when to contest outside shots or sag a bit to contest drives. He's been a defensive menace tonight.

I didn't realize DeMar had like 7 assists in the 1ST half. He's picked his spots and picked up his pace as the game has progressed.

I like that we made a better effort driving to the rim and getting to the FT line.

Speaking of fouls, why a re visiting teams getting bloody home-cooked fouls on our court?!

Full team effort on both ends.

But no lead is too big, no lead is safe. We must keep up the pressure throughout the next half. Smart, hard D and smart, crafty assertive O for the full final 24!

We took a punch for a few minutes but finished the 3RD Q well thanks to Rudy's steady presence.

Need to get our intensity going and stay hungry for the final 12 minutes!

A MUCH BETTER TEAM EFFORT!

Wonderful D, terrific sharing of the ball and scoring responsibilities!

Focused, dedicated response. I hadn't realized this was the first of a back-to-back for us. Hopefully we have a lot of juice left for tomorrow's game, but I do like that we bounced back well and have the energy of it to carry over to the next game.
