Though we're in the midst of a rough stretch, some reflection and perspective show we are capable of more. We've played better and we know the concrete steps to doing so again: dedication to running back on D, ball protection, movement and transition on O, and making more 3s. And some sandpaper resolve throughout.

They're running familiar plays. We should, therefore, recognize them.
Let's guard the 3 better - they're 6-9 - and take more 3s - we're 1-2.

Too many turnovers and not enough 3s by us so far. In fact, we have more TO's - 4 - than made 3s - 2-4. We're already near last at attempts per game, but we can't allow ourselves to average even less. They're happy to exchange made 3s for our 2s. Get the arc going, Spurs!

We brought this game back from the brink to within reach. I loved Derrick's hustle. DJ finally got a friendly roll at the end of the Q with his made 3.
Rudy and Patty are not giving us anything on O - again - and so thank God for Lonnie. The dynamics of his game are a difference maker.
We are ball watching A LOT and getting caught with back door weak side sneak ins.
We are cutting well ourselves. When we push and play and drive hard we are getting good results.
I'll say it again - protect our arc, take and make way more 3s, Spurs!

Loved the push and hustle from us in this 3RD Q to get within 1. But some D breakdowns handed them a 17-5 run and a double digit lead again. Rudy gives; Rudy takes away. Patty's not giving anything in this game. Just a bad streak that we have to overcome. We have the reinforcements to try other guys.
I like the hustle at the start of the 4TH Q again.

See what I mean about DeRozan? When you absolutely need a basket he throws up that weak crap hoping for a ref to bail him out. I am beyond tired of him.

One thing I have learned watching the Nuggets feed of this game. The Denver announcers absolutely hate Michael Porter Jr. LOL

Gut punch. Can it feel like a turning point?
I loved our fight. I just hope we can take it to the next game.
