After the much needed two day break (it felt so long between games!), we embark on the next step of our journey and growth. Already exceeding last season's result under greater trying circumstances is but the next foundation for reaching new heights.

To do that, nothing but a full team effort, locked in and flowing, will do. We've shown how dangerous and effective we can be when hitting our stride: Communicating, hustling, playing together and intelligently. A strong start to ride the wave the rest of the way is key. We need to make the most of this stage and it's opportunity. Let's get it!!!

I'm back in Canada, mandatory travel quarantining (even though I'm virus negative throughout but whatever), farther from what I love but so very grateful to have seen my beloved Spurs play in San Antonio. I close my eyes and think of the cool experiences I had and want some more. I hope our Spurs gather their collective wisdom and put it all into these upcoming games.

Glad you enjoyed San Antonio. One of these days I will do the same. I have only seen them in person when they come to Detroit.

I've seen the Murray comments about how he thinks everyone is ignoring the Spurs. That is usually the case and he should know that by now but I have a pro tip for him. Try not being a 10th seed with a 33-39 record and maybe some people will pay attention to you

But hopefully he plays with a chip on his shoulder tonight. It shows how far he has come that I am using him in my fantasy lineup.

Thanks! It was amazing!!! I had forgotten what 'normal' looked and felt like. Lots of cool things to do and beautiful places to visit. I didn't get to do all the things on my list, but next time...

DJ I think made the remarks directly to an ESPN advert that literally had a player from every other playoff and playin team except the Spurs. Stood out badly for a professional sports media org.

The start against us was the start I hoped for us. We just couldn't buy a bucket. It's affecting our confidence everywhere.

I also don't like how we're trotting back on D versus a team that is 1st in fast break points.

We took the first punch. Just get one stop, get one bucket, and build on it. Again and again and again.

A lot of guys have upped their games. Except DeMar who is struggling to score and doing that thing where he holds onto the ball too long and slows the game down while the D sets up. Christy All Mighty.

Loving Keldon's energy, DJ's tenacity, Rudy's and Patty's vet presence. We need more guys to step up and DeMar to stop forcing outside shots for try that find his stroke. Just drive or pass and make th decisions on faster. We can't afford for him to be stubborn about contributing with scoring. He can help other ways. Use them. Please, Spurs, use all of them that we have at our disposal!!!

So Tankathon has us taking Moses Moody if we are at 12. Don't know much about him but that looks like a pick we make if we know DeRozan is gone.

Definitely missed Derrick's versatility and steadiness on both ends.. wonder how it goes with him there. Shame he got hurt late in the season.

Bad game from DeMar for sure... very good offensive guard but probably time to move on.

Hey Gump - about DeMar. I agree about next season.

We need pure shooters and a proper PF, too. But DeMar cannot be anything like a dependable go-to guy when it matters most.

Valiant effort to come back from a 21-point early deficit, but we left a LOT of points on the floor when DeMar didn't have it. It didn't help that he didn't facilitate as quickly as he has in the past, but other guys disappeared on O as well. Rudy and our D dragged us along.

Lonnie is maddeningly inconsistent. Whatever it is, we can't have the wisdom tweets about success or adversity when he has a good or bad game. Just play well consistently.

Jakob isn't a starting C because of his limited O. Unless he works on his O.

We could have had this game despite the early poor play and deficit but we settled for outside shots that were not falling.

We can certainly have a great off-season. We will be more consistent and balanced next season with a lot of FA's and a lot of cap space.

Despite the tons of adversity and changes this season, we actually fared better than last season. I feel this just missed chance leaves a bad taste, and leaves everyone from PATFO to Pop to players motivated to regroup and return with a renewed purpose and drive. With new players and a tweaked system, we'll get to where we want to, and Pop will get the all-time wins record along the way to a return to the playoffs.

I love our team.
