That's basketball 101 man....
You have to understand how important that basket would be to end the half. Not go up half assed against Garland who is half your size who wins if he fouls you :banghead:

So what'll happen is Pop will get on Jakob to dunk, he'll do it the couple of times to show he listened, and we'll go back to finesse misses at times.

I will never EVER understand how a guy who can get a SURE basket risks a less sure one. Never ever.

I got Bill and Sean. You're missing out on Michelle Beadle's insight for the entire game.

Yeah I just switched into a heap full of non basketball talk and giggles ffs. And it's still better than their feed.

2ND Q: SPURS 48

CAVS 57

A fall on our own sword Q.

Four TOs. The nine in total has cost us 12 points (8 earned the other way).

We got the the FT line 3-5 to their 12-17. Stop fouling or something lol and drive more to get them into foul trouble.

Keldon is 3-5 from 3, the rest of the team is **** 0-12. Christ. Almighty. Help us. Please.

End of Q awareness and execution: we TOd it towards the end of the 1ST, and Jakob had a chance at a three-point play but laid it up softly against a smaller guard and missed the **** bunny. Every. Point. Counts.

Not only has Devin surpassed Lonnie as the first player off the bench and playing more minutes, but now Primo is getting more minutes than Lonnie, who is 0-2, 0-1 from 3, with 1 board, 1 assist. Maybe his knee is still bothering him - but we don't play guys who are hurt, so perhaps something else is hurt.

Still, Devin is struggling, 2-7, 0-4 from 3 oof. That said, he flipped a switch and drove assertively and finished well at the rim. One thing doesn't work, you try another. I like the vision and effort.

Jakob is 0-2. You'd think he'd be more hungry for that point when he had a golden opportunity but here we are.

Zach has a nice passing touch and is in the right positions on both ends. He looks like he's leaning back a bit on O when posting up and taking shots. He isn't yet going into defenders but that comfort and trust has to come in time.

Doug is also 2-7 with some missed bunnies, 0-2 from 3. Jekyll/Hyde this team with scoring, man.

I like our push in transition beating them down the court several times.

Push downhill more, be more assertive, protect the ball, and make the shots, Spurs!

That's perfect!

Only at times she sounds like a teen trying to be cool laughing too hard at things that aren't that funny... It's like they're trying to pretend we're not getting an ass whooping if they don't talk about it...

Pop draws a terrific play for an open Derrick floater and he doesn't use the glass and misses an uncontested **** missed bunny.

Once again Keldon is IN THE KEY and rotating out late. Why are you there when your man is AT THE ARC?!

I guess this is one of those game in which Derrick forgets how to use the glass...

I do love it when Derrick steps up to take the charge. That was recognition to get into that D space, get right into Love, and make sure he yelled as he fell lol

23 point deficit down to 15. Solid two way play. Devin is WORKING on both ends.

3RD Q: SPURS 73

CAVS 84

Well we cut a 23-point deficit down to 11 and that's a solid effort.

DEVIN HAS THE HOT HAND - KEEP FEEDING HIM!

It's amazing what happens when we actually score.

USE THE GLASS AND DUNK WHEREVER POSSIBLE, SPURS!

Whenever they need a basket, its LaVert, Sexton, Allen or Mobely. I'm impressed how they move the ball. Amazing we kept it this close with how bad we shot the ball.

And yet we still gave him TWICE the minutes that Lonnie got. Oof... Trading for another guard today makes for a crowded position. Hmm...
