Our penultimate home game during this stand must show good man and team D. All else flows from it. Carry over our competitive spirit and we're on our way to a better overall game. Development for the win!

This is an egregious, blatant tank job. They didn't even play yesterday. May the basketball gods look upon this with just eyes:

I see we're not bothering to rotate out to the arc to contest 3s ... again ... FFS ...

Open drive by them, TO by us, O reb by them, then allowed an +1 for a 5-0 run. Brilliant.

Added to our not bothering to rotate out to contest the 3, we're now bleeding on drives and fouling. Over and over and over. **** ASS defense. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAASSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

1ST Q: SPURS 37

THUNDER 29

Well looks like we're pushing to shoot our way through the game, defense be damned.

In fairness, though, the whistles are a bit high strung, too. They have 8-11FTs. We have to adjust.

We shot 22FGAs, 10 of which were from 3, making 4. Nice shot distribution.

Everyone except Devin has already scored! We already have 10 assists.

Would be nice if we could defend the arc better by actually going out there and not fouling on their drives.

Bill just said Thunder are last in 3s (attempts, I think, not sure if he meant efficiency). I guess we're just playing to percentages. Still, it would be nice if they did shoot it WIIIIIIIDE open all the time. Like at least practice good habits and don't make it easy for them to practice their accuracy.

Primo whiffed on that switch, deaked out his own team mate who was leaning to Primo's man, leaving a wiiiide open drive.

And then another for the Pop timeout.

Inexcusable D.

Say what you will about more PT for the rest of the guards after the Derrick trade, our D has taken a noticeable step back. Bigger growing pains with less experienced players playing more.

We just insist on taking 3s. Not even bothering to run anything else hardly.

Well then again each time they drive we get a soft quick whistle. Jakob's third already. Oh Tony Brothers. FFS lmao no wonder.

Thank goodness we have floor stretching bigs as back ups now.

I guess not dunking by our bigs is **** contagious or something. Zach's missed bunny results in their transition dunk.

Well we can't **** defend if EVERY call is someone a foul. EVERY. CALL.

No wonder Pop's going berserk on the sidelines. We're not getting the same soft courtesy.

2ND Q: SPURS 68

THUNDER 56

Well it's a fun night for the fans what with our making 10-26 from 3 already!

We had a very nice run to finish the Q and take a two-point lead up to 12 by the end of the half.

In fairness, the fouls are closer now, and we've made 14-16 of them so well done there.

I know a lot of the fouls have been light touch ones, but they've been able to drive at us rather too easily for the liking. Too many miscommunications on switches, too many blow by drives on their first steps on us, too late help. Get it together, Spurs. Sure we're pouring in the points, but we also just allowed the team that is LAST in the league with 102.8PPG to score 56 points on near 54% and 42% from 3. We're allowing too high efficiency. Lock down on D, Spurs. Devin, do try to score. Thanks.
