Well despite some lapses, our effort on D was better overall.

Loved this play. Everything about it. Right down to Becky gesturing animatedly to the black haired lady ref about the no-call bump. DJ's holding the ball at half court like he's **** MJ, the slap away of the hand, the hard drive down the middle, the bump, and the pretty finish. It had confidence, moxy, stank, physicality, and aesthetics. Oh. Yeah.

We are still only 2-14 from 3 overall but they cooled off making just 2-13 from there as well.

When we got focused and serious about playing D, we switched well, rotated out to contest well, provided help D to double and seal up the paint well, and rebounded well where we lead 32-17 and 9-5 on O boards. Really good job getting after the ball on both ends at the rim. Devin and DJ and Jakob stood out.

We had 7 TOs of the careless variety not really because of their pressure, no offense to them, and we paid the price giving up 9 to their 6 points. We also got sloppy fouling them and gave up 7-10.

Despite our 3s not falling we're getting just about anything inside for a commanding 48-18 points in the paint.

DJ's leading us with a near triple double and 22 points on 9-10, but just about everyone except Primo and Jock are efficient.

We play D, we get the results we want.

Quick 6-0 run for them *sigh*

We have a 30 - THIRTY! - point advantage in the paint and we start the 3RD Q settling for outside shots.

Pop has to burn a timeout early to get our heads out of ours asses on D.
