8-0 run, then a bad inbound pass wherein we didn't come to the ball, got stripped and scored on.

The youth giveth; the youth taketh away.

Rough patches, sometimes looking like we're not running much of anything but a come from behind lead after the 1ST Q.

Cross court pass to weak side to Days for another 3 hmm...

And Wesley with the steal and dunk!

Hall has shown some good D and nice passing and as a (I think) 6'8" point-forward is unique. But Darius Days is really showing out well:

We let it slip towards the end of Q a bit. Again weird how the Summer Spurs' tendencies mirror those of the big club without any of the players.

We let a 14-point lead slip to 8 so hopefully we come with more urgency and cohesion.

Wesley keeps driving into congestion. Has to learn to use other players and see open spaces/team mates.

OOF 17-2 run for the opponent with an inexcusable player behind our D for way too long.

Bowman was better at seeing team mates in the first half. So he does know how to do it. But he's just... stopped doing it.

We're down two after three Qs. Again we forget how to play like a team. Weird.

Yeah Bowman is... stubbornly not looking to give up the ball now, to put it mildly.

We were up 14 and lose by 13. Just gave up playing like a team. Once a team comes back on us the errors start. ISO ball has been the reason for a lot of the lead drops. On to the next one.

Some game impressions:

We're good at getting leads and at giving them away, mostly through TOs and ISO play.

Not sure what Bowman was thinking - and maybe he was told to look for his shot - but goodness he has the blinders on in the second half.

Wesley missed a lot of shots but did good things, and he's a blur out there. We need a driver. Needs to work on his handles and finishing at the rim versus bigger players. Led us with 8-9FTs. Did other things to help like getting into passing lanes. An active pest.

Best game of SL for Branham so far. So smooth. Got another dunk attempt blocked by both the rim and the opponent.

Both Wesley and Barnham were stat stuffers in this game.

In general our drivers need to learn ways to protect the ball either with reverse layups or fakes or putting a body on the opponent or using the body to shield the ball.

Barlow deserves his two-way. He oozes potential. Nice body control for his size, good D positioning, good rebounding, nice shooting form. 4-8, 5-5FTs, 5 boards (3 on O)

Jordan Hall's stats belie his contribution. Good outlet passes, moves the ball willingly, maybe a bit too unselfish. Sometimes didn't get the bounce passes quite in the right pocket for post players and these got picked off. Long, co-ordinated, decent defender. Not sure he got to show his game as much as he'd have liked. I hope he gets picked up by a team. Has a foundation to work with.

Darius Days impressed once again. Fluid, strong like a bull, lead us in rebounding with 11 (3 on O), got another double double with 13 points on 5-10, 3-7 from 3. Just one of those very solid, composed glue guys that is quiet, strong, defends, and finds ways to contribute. Very nice looking 3 shot. He'll find a job somewhere. I hope it's with us, but that makes us a bit congested at the 4. Assuming we eventually move Doug and JRich, we will need good off ball movers. Not sure Joe has shown enough but he was perhaps pegged as a Doug replacement? Days is already 22.5 so it in part explains his more poised and polished game. So now we have Roby, Sochan, Diop, Barlow (two-way). Hopefully Days can find a fit with us.

Anyway, fewer TOs (25 today yikes), more team play, gents.

Hard to watch because its like watching AAU. Not enjoyable and hard to evaluate anyone really. Everyone is just out to get theirs.

The only good thing about it is the lack of incredible flopping like the NBA has...
