I really think Joe Wieskamp hurt his chances of sticking with this team because of not playing. I know he's injured but terrible timing for that.

We're down 22-17 after the 1ST Q, wherein we learn the importance of a player who can run the team, preferably the PG. Hopefully we can look more like a team and see some assertive play.

Sasha with the great pass now. Goes to show that guys who've been playing longer can make up with craftiness and experience what they may lack with bounce or physicality.

Well I wonder. I was sure we'd sign Darius Days to the other two-way but he signed with the Heat. Tom Orsborn wrote that we still haven't decided on that signing and likely didn't want to hold up any opportunities for him. If it were on merit in SL play alone, Days earned it.

But with that spot still open, I wonder whether we go with Joe. When we drafted him I thought he'd be an eventual Doug replacement so we'll see.

Our Austin guys Stewart and Woodard (whose contract was later guaranteed) are showing out well now.

Sasha is making great plays all over the place. HIGH BBIQ.

Good try with the dunk attempt, Blake. Showing some moxie even if a floater would have resulted in a better chance to score. Learning with each play.

More spirited play as the 2ND Q progressed. When we have a catalyst who plays with smarts like Sasha it coalesces everyone around him into better play. He made 3s, got an O board he quickly passed for a bucket, ran a P&R well and made a seeing eye pass, drove and kicked out right to where the shooter could just release the ball.

Tied at 47 at the half.

Blake has a lot of attributes but right now running a team well is not yet one of them lol

Barlow has good coordination and a nice touch around the rim. Good blocker, too.

We may have the most missed dunks in all of SL.

We've had a hard time passing that ball to rollers in P&Rs.

Hey a nice high low pass inside for the 2! Good recognition, quick and decisive, good fake and patience down low.

Some missed chances but finally we had a good 3RD Q wherein we took the lead and kept it.
