We put our good two-way playing the right way on the line with a home game versus another east opponent, our first of the series. Making sure we protect the perimeter and the paint with an emphasis on BBIQ, poise, attention to fundamentals details, and imposing our game are our keys to the game. Right P&R reads, quick responses, and counter attacks are central to our mission tonight.

(From earlier, because my browser did something weird): Tre great steal but bad pass attempt over a much taller player who steals it back. As Sean said, Tre had Romeo on the right side who was more open.

Roby nice start.

We have to be careful about the back pass to the C in the paint on their P&R. Got caught on it twice already. Three Spurs on the driver, overcommitted. Collins didn't even get a hand up once the pass was made.

I like the aggressive driving once again. Good work on O boards as well.

Oooo caught on the give and cut...

Lets hope we get back to basics tonight. Its just going to get tougher from here.

Detroit pulled a David Robinson and set Cade Cunningham out for the year. They aren't messing around.

Solid start if you're name is not Keldon or Jeremy though at least the former got to the FT line 3-4 already.

I like the vertical push with our guards going at their bigs.

Good rebounding as well, especially on O, 8-3.

We have to be careful about overcommitting on drivers again and not rotating out to pick up the right guy on O, and be careful about the P&R coverage.

Stick to them like a shadow. Keep moving, competing.

We're doing a good job finishing with right hands on left side drives.

Sochan great cut, keeps an eye on the ball, Jeldon missed him, but Sochan got the ball back up too, drove and dished well to Collins for the off glass basket.

Gang rebounding and vertical game that has opened up the arc shots - that we're making! - has us forcing timeouts.

Pop's been working the refs hard this get but you could hear that animated roar at the goaltend all the way from here!
