We're back! After a much needed break and Sochan representing the team well at the Rising Stars game, we come together to continue the west leg of the RRT. We are once again without some key contributors but also with some new ones who have a chance to develop more chemistry and space to grow our individual and collective games. As always, staying true to our foundations, focusing on team-first, D-out, two-way play is central to the task.

Wow. Quite the list still:

Malaki has to fight over screens faster to get into passing lanes on the roll bounce pass into the key. He could've had it but was sort of trotting his way over the screen.

Malaki's a bucket.

Keldon's a load.

Fun to see the favoured tendencies of our young guys grow.

Love hearing EXTRA PASS for an open shot, this time a right corner Keldon 3.

Collins is very much a rhythm and reps player. Needs them to get his touch and confidence going.

FAMILIAR PATTERN: we get a steal then turn it over right on the transition play.

THEN we don't run back on D transition.

Dunk.

Pop timeout.

Running back on D is a function of effort and hustle not experience. Seems like Pop has a shorter leash and less patience now.

Then again, allowing an open 3 is suboptimal...

Malaki on Luka didn't work.

Collins on Luka worked better.

ANOTHER GREAT HIGH LOW PASS by Collins to Diop, and another **** up at the rim by Diop. Finish strong, mate. Love the guy but sometimes he looks like a wet noodle. Go up strong.

Malaki steal, drive, down the middle, good shielding of the ball, bucket.

The only thing I would say about Malaki is that we had a 3 on 2 fast break and we were maybe a bit too close space-wise but I'd like us and Malaki to run it with some passes.
