**** hell Blake!

Over dribbles, runs clock, then calls his own number when he's having another bad shooting night and misses.

This might be a Lonnie athleticism and IQ situation.

**** hell Blake! Drives right through defender, no side moves, Euro step or anything. O foul.

Nielsen challenging.

Nothing like a PG taking a transition 3 top of arc with open wings... Miss.

Dom O board putback +1 means one of them did their job properly.

4TH Q: SPURS 73 PISTONS 79

We had I think a 9 point lead at one point but blew it with 14TOs and 12 O boards against.

Dom and Rice were bright spots, the former with an efficient double double and the latter with smart efficient decisive play. Led us with 3 steals. Rice may be Blake insurance...

Dom could box out more consistently. He did lead us with 5 O boards which is terrific.

Blake took the most shots and was 3-17, 0-3 from 3, 4-5FTs, one of the lone bright spots. He forced shots, over dribbled, made poor reads and decisions missing open team mates in transition or rolls. Decent man D on the perimeter but did not contest down low (hands at his sides) and kept getting lost on team D. Some aspects of the game have slowed down for him like he found space on drives better and used screens for mid range attempts but his efficiency and poor handles and poor finish at the rim stood out.

We shot very poorly in all areas but still only 1 assist from the lead PG does not present well.

I hope he's tough mentally because he's going to get yelled at by Pop aplenty this season. APLENTY. He might be Lonnie 2.0 and given our glut at guard, he may not have a lot of time left to figure things out and put them together.

Loved what Sidy showed with smart physical D both man and at the rim, showed some pretty passing IQ and execution, and cut well again. Thunder dunk stood out. Has to work on his shot but is already a reliable player with his IQ and D.

Dom, Julian, Sidy and Malaki (three-level scoring 6th man potential) are keepers.

GSG!
