4TH Q: SPURS 98 THUNDER 94

Squeezed it out with a return to team play towards the latter half of the Q, some good team D, and a final full court press breakdown.

Sidy had a terrific all around game with 10 on 35 (0-1 from 3), 4-5FTs, 8 boards (1 on O), team high 6 assists, team high 2 blocks, team high +19. He's a high BBIQ player, gets into the right space at the right time, is tough physically, has terrific court vision and is braver with his passes than shots right now. Work on handles and shot will make him a dangerous player. LOVE his two-way game and the extras he's showing already.

Bediako with 17 points and 11 boards - team high 7 on O - for our lone double double. Kept the ball up high on putbacks, used his big body well, and has a nice hook touch.

Stevenson led us with 23 but on 23 shots (!), 4-14 from 3 (!) but stood out well with contributions on the boards (7, 2 on O), and 4 assists.

McCoy led us with 31 minutes and was smart in his shot selection, being far more efficient and made some clutch shots. 18 (7-12, 2-5 from 3, 2-2FTs), 6 boards (1 on O), 4 assists, 1 steal.

Kier led the bench with 4 assists contributing to the team's 20.

Rice led the bench with 13 (5-12, 1-6 from 3, 2-2FTs), 1 board, 1 block, surprisingly no assists, but a team high 4 steals.

18TOs plagued us in the second half but our 48 boards and 15 on O were crucial in getting hustle second chance possessions and points.

Sidy, Bediako, Stevenson, McCoy and Rice stood out well.

Now on to vacation and rest for some, roster signings and construction for others, preparation for the upcoming season for all.
