The Spurs head into Wednesday’s season opener against Dallas with 10 players on the roster under team control at least through the 2025-26 season.

That includes every member of the projected starting five – Wembanyama, Vassell, Johnson, Jeremy Sochan and now Collins.

The message sent by the Spurs’ sudden spending spree has been well received within the confines of the locker room.

“They believe in us,” Johnson said. “We’ve put so much into this together. To know the front office believes in us and they have a plan, it’s big.”

I won't post practices here, but this is not part of training camp anymore as the roster is set, pre-season games are done, and it's the final practice before the first official game of the season. So to chronicle it:
