Branham's been out there 3 minutes, taken 2 shots, and I somehow missed them both. Weird off kilter game, not a lot of rhythm for us. We're settling in better though.

We finish on a good run despite the comedy of TO errors. Turns out that ended up almost evening out but our 8 TOs have cost us 11 points. ELEVEN.

These are also wasted possessions - we have six fewer shots.

We need to be mindful of the rebounds in our end as well - 4-0 O boards against.

We're also down 18-6 POITP - part of these are from the TOs - so running back in transition D needs to be better and limiting TOs is a must and part of it is getting more physical on O.

We're only 0-2FTs so far so let's force the situation our way.

Sochan's footwork has to be quicker. Is it an unfair criticism? He's a big guy, but has to be more on the balls of his feet and use smaller strides.

2ND Q: SPURS 37 CLIPPERS 59

End of Q 3 against and another 7 TOs for a total of FIFTEEN at the half, which cost us TWENTY-TWO POINTS to getting five off of theirs and there's the game so far.

The FTs are pretty much even so we haven't done well enough to get calls, but really the offshoots from the TOs are hurting us - we have 8 fewer FGAs and 8 fewer FGs made. We have made FIFTEEN shots this half. It was a THREE ASSIST Q.

Devin leads us with only 12 points, yet that is still higher than the other four starters combining for 11 points so far (no points for Sochan).

Only two bench players have scored - Cedi and Bassey. Everyone else has combined for a bagel. Doug is the lone player to not take a shot yet.

It's pretty much as ugly as ugly gets.

So if we can muster some energy and shelve the politeness like some noob under bright lights for the first time maybe we can put something respectable together. More physical, more prideful, more cohesive.

It's tricky when guys see their prospective replacements on the team. It happened with LMA (Jakob), Jakob (Zach), KBD (Barlow), and now Doug (Cedi).

I have a hard time believing he was out of shape. We have personnel visit players wherever they are to make sure they're keeping up with a scheduled summer program. He was part of the summer workouts I believe. He looks to be moving well enough, but 1. it's hard to get out there and be hot in fewer minutes, 2. doing so coming in cold and 3. the shot is one of the first things to go as players get older. He's very much a rhythm player and hasn't been able to get much of it. He used to be our starting PF. Read that again. Wow. Phew. New era lol
