GO SPURS GO!!!

Hmm I like the Sochan-Wemby 4-5. This is a very seldom used line-ups so far. It has a star rookie and two second-year players alongside two of our longest-serving Spurs:

Wait. This has Sochan facing their PG. So at least that's that on the D end. We'll see on O. What do I know We'll soon see!

Ok so on O it looks like it's Branham and Devin back court.

Spacing is off on our second play on O with Sochan dribbling into where Wemby was down low right.

Sochan needs a line up around him which allows him to probe more slowly. He gets rushed into wrong decisions, still inexperienced in right ones. Don't like his decisions with the ball. Still.

KJ caught on a back door cut just before.

Bad decision by Wemby to dribble into too congested space too high and then get stripped before finding a team mate.

Not sure why Sochan and Branham switched on the perimeter when their PG passed. He got the ball right back and hit a too open 3 with Branham late to the close out. When the PG passes, we have to do a better job preventing a too open and easy pass back. Contest the passing lanes, stay in their space.

Nice find of Sochan down low for a dunk before that.

Very animated discussion among our coaches on the court during this timeout. First among the top four - Pop, Nielsen, Brett, and Johnson, then the latter two left. Love seeing these types of moments.

Wemby fights for the D board, Wemby takes it end to end and earns another trip to the FT line. Well done!

SOCHAN SPACING WITH WEMBY IN THE PAINT AGAIN. He drives to where Wemby is - like LOOK! - and dishes clumsily to him, too low, which is stripped and TO and foul the other way. Mistakes mistakes... Just look up and see where guys are, mate.

Sochan terrific man D on DD to deflect the turnaround J attempt. Nice and tight in his space. Good timing on the contest.
