Julian on Scoot tonight so far. Already an adjustment from last night's Branham on Scoot.
We pass to Julian left corner 3. Nice.

That's TWICE Zach has gotten stops at the rim, blocks, and we recovered the ball and pushed in transition. Zach basket and foul.

Little bit settling for outside shots too much. Rather we all work inside-out first, force them to foul, rather than affect rhythm and momentum with outside misses.
But good defensive presence and contests and pushes ahead.

Sagging Cs is terrible. Too much space for drivers to operate and get downhill steam.

Devin once again drives and stops, picks up dribble early rather than pulling back out, stopping the play. I seem to recall him having some sort of handles to beat defenders but he's front to front going down the middle on defenders, no angles, no stutter steps, no handles, just not great handling of these instances.

It's crazy who we've had to slot in as starters in recent years. Doug at 4 lol, before that Keldon at 4 by default, then rookie Sochan. At least the latter is an actual PF. Undrafted Julian follows a longer list of unheralded slot in players. More to type than actual ability but until Sidy is ready, we have to go with who fills the 3&D profile.
