Classy and well put, Julian:
EDIT to add CP3's heartfelt message from earlier:
"I've only been with the team now for a few months, but I've paid attention to Pop my entire career, you know, and he, I think is one of the best, if not the best and putting everything into perspective," said Paul. "And he's so selfless and he makes sure we understand how privileged we are to play this game and to be in the NBA, but he'd be the first person to tell you not to worry about him and to go out and hoop. But of course all the guys with our team, staff, everyone definitely miss him because he's Pop. So there's a feeling when he's in the room that just comforts everybody."

Catching up on good wishes, this from Nov. 23:
Golden State coach Steve Kerr offered some encouraging words Saturday about Gregg Popovich's physical well-being.
The Spurs' Hall of Fame coach is in a rehabilitation program after suffering what the team called a mild stroke on Nov. 2.
“We keep communicating and I know he is going to get well,” Kerr said. “The doctors are feeling great about all of that, so very happy about that. But it is always tough to see someone you love who is not healthy.”
Kerr, who as a player helped the Spurs win NBA titles in 1999 and 2003, is one of Popovich’s closest friends in the coaching profession.
“He means the world to me,” said Kerr, who was also an assistant on Popovich's Team USA staff that won a gold medal at the Tokyo Olympics in 2021. “Tough to know that he going through this medical situation. Think about him all the time and we have been in touch.”

Good news about the positive trajectory. Full healing and back to cracking the whip to keep players at the ready
From RealGM wiretap:
Credit Johnson for being willing to speak some truth rather than opt for the nightly ringing endorsement that would be safer politically. That’s what Popovich surely wants from the 39-year-old assistant who has been on his staff since 2018, and what the 75-year-old will hopefully give to Wembanyama himself again when he’s back on the bench. While team sources said there is no timeline on a Popovich return, the league’s all-time winningest coach continues to progress and the organization’s hope remains that he will, in fact, resume the role he has held since 1996.

Anniversary, a look back and funny how we're in a similar upswing with a generational star waiting patiently for Pop to help add to all time wins total.

YYYEEEAAASSS!!!!!!!
The cheers upon Pop's return are going to be monumental.
Godspeed for a fully healthy epic comeback, Pop!
(No rush, but it would be nice if Pop could at least travel with the team to France. That would be nice for everyone).

Really good to hear.
Article also states Pop has now been speaking with the players which must be comforting for both sides. (I'll post quotes when I get a chance).
Sound like things are coming along nicely. Hopefully Pop can make the France trip, but no skipping steps, Pop! Healing fully first and foremost. Bench and team and fans will be here when you're ready.

On tonight's Spurs-Suns national broadcast, they mentioned Pop sat in on coaches' meetings during the All Star break!
Before that there were rumours swirling about Pop seen driving into the practice facility.
LOVE IT!

I'm loathe to rely on Shams for any Pop info, so while after the Wemby news I didn't think Pop would return this season, I think it's reasonable that Pop and Wemby are in close and frequent communication, no newsbreaker there, but I would take Pop's word - the statement he released in his own words - as the go-to regarding expectations of his return:
PEMBY! UNFINISHED BUSINESS!

Always best to source from the source. Prayers for a full recovery and back to better than ever on and off the sidelines, Pop! It's only been three months. You've got this. With you all the way!
