Saw we were down like 14-8 early so read of the comeback. Means we outscored them 22-12 the rest of the way. Bench stepping up. Good energy and balance.

We were up 18 had multiple O scoring chances on one possession and settled for three missed 3s. Have to have that killer instinct and have a 1st, 2nd, 3rd to go option. Don't hunt the 3/settle for it. Sort of passive energy and then we gave up a transition bucket.

CP3 knows better but got all ISOitis fever for a moment.

This game should be far more than a 13 point difference if we set up and took smarter shots. We're fortunate and can't rely on an opponent not hitting any shots.

2ND Q: SPURS 53 PELICANS 40

This could easily have been at least 60 point for us but we're only shooting 38% from the field. Our sputtering 23 point Q was bested by their anemic 14. We are actually shooting better from 3 at near 42%.

And most scoring is thanks for the most part due to our bench which has poured in 33 of our 53 points.

Devinitis has infected the rest of the starters, with Biyombo the only one showing good efficiency at 2-4. Where would we be without him? Very solid, experienced, knows his role, high BBIQ signing.

Champagnie leads all players with a very efficient 15 clicking from 3, followed by Keldon continuing his scorching energized play with 12. He has also at times been tasked with guarding their behemoth PF and has stood has ground with that wide stance, upright positioning, and good angles.

Castle struggling. This is about as much as we can sustain without getting caught.

Set up better, smarter good to great shots, don't settle for the 3, protect the rim better, and get to the FT line more.

Good assist/TO ratio 18/5. Good 10-0 fast break point advantage. Good 11-2 points off TOs.

Play together. Hunt the extra pass for best shots.

Dev and CP3 1-5 from 3 each, both attempt and miss a 3 early in the clock.
