A travel SEGABABA, our second back-to-back in five days, late in the season versus another PO contender? Why not.
We have to dig deep as we face a tired but upset opponent, finding the counterpunch through the fatigue. Hard to focus a tired mind and body, but the challenge awaits nonetheless.

1ST Q: SPURS 33 NUGGETS 21
On my way home, I saw we got off to a quick 9-0 start.
Looks like we kept it up with some scorching shooting.
3s.
The ultimate leveler bridging the gap between contenders and teams looking up at them.
Also helps when said contender sits its five starters. Taking nothing away from our collective hot hand, but it's of course a factor.
I like the Champie for Dev switch in the starting group. This is the team to do it against.

2ND Q: SPURS 66 NUGGETS 54
We were up 20 quieting a usually loud crowd.
Still we now see them closer in the rearview mirror as they've nearly halved our biggest lead.
I see Dev and KJ are nout.
I also see the Champie start is not yet bearing efficient fruit.
Castle struggling as well.
Vet uncs to the rescue, with CP and Barnes making half their shots.
Our bench consists of second and really third stringers and they're white hot!
Mamu 4-5; Malaki 5-10; Blake 3-3, combining for 31 points. McLaughlin is the 8th man, 0-1.
16 assists to only 4TOs is good teamwork and ball protection. We also have 5 steals and 4 blocks.
Good work on both ends. We have to stay focused and keep pushing. We aren't really being challenged anywhere. Yet. Expect it. Respond well.

Don't look now (seriously may need to turn away) but that altitude is taking full effect.
Our 20 then 12 point lead is now down to 4.

3RD Q: SPURS 88 NUGGETS 85
The inevitable response.
We lost this one 31-22 on quicker shots and more made as our efficiency dropped.
I like Castle's passing decisions better than his shot selection decisions from what I've seen tonight. He has to refine his touch from middy range. A bit hard on the push to release.
Good for Branham for making the most of his minutes. Nuggets broadcast praising him. He drove through contact, absorbed it, and finished deftly. I've forgotten how refined his O game is. Made extra passes, too. Good see all of it.
Anyway, let's see what we can come up with as we're surely sucking air in these last 12 minutes.

Another Champie drive, another block at the rim.
It's these, as well as the sideline step out of bounds TOs, that he's come to be known for as much as the 3s.
*sigh*

4RH Q: SPURS 113 NUGGETS 106
Sigh I'm going to let gump take over with the eventual rant.
Vets are helping a little too much, eh, but they don't give themselves minutes.
Clearly interim coach was gunning for the win with all starters in the 30s in minutes, including all vets, and a nine man rotation with McLaughlin getting the fewest in 17 minutes.
Maybe our young 3rd stringers would have carried the way home but we'll never know now. They should be given the chance especially since they played well.
I'm gunning for showcasing them and letting them show they belong or bring up their value. We already know what CP and Barnes bring. So yeah...

I'll leave it to you Grey LOL. We have already cost ourselves a good pick so let them be dumb with no one watching them or caring.
Bill Land's replacement is the only one cheering for them. Even Sean has checked out.
We are still 8th because Portland and Chicago both won. Gives us a 6% chance. We could still catch Toronto at 7 for a 7.5% chance. If Atlanta falls back into the lottery we will be around there anyway. Just stop winning effing games. No one cares.

Oh, I see what happened now. Chris Paul got a $262,000 bonus if we won 32 games. Effing bullcrap!
