Duncan feeling it

Post#1 » by Magz50 » Thu Jan 24, 2008 6:41 pm

Been noticing Duncan's play lately has been fantastic. His last 5 games his averages are:

21.8 pts 14.9 rbs 3.0 as 3.2 blks 50%fg in 37 mins. Very solid for the big guy. I think if the Spurs go on a big run TD will break his way back into MVP contention.

He's had to step it up, the pressure is building up to start playing consistently, so he's taking it upon himself to get the offense rolling.

Well Parker isn't shooting as well as he had due to his gimpyness so it is up to other people to step up and he has done his part.

well he needs more touches imo

at least 19-20 touches
AJ:"I'm Western Conference," he said. "I'm Popovich. I'm for him, for Texas and for the Spurs."

I've been saying this for the entire "losing" stretch..he needs to touch the ball EVERY time..something good usually happens..he's starting to look a lot better..his bank shot has been falling, and his finishing has been great..

every time he goes to the bench I get worried about the team..

Duncan usually gets his named tossed into the hat for GOAT nominations, when you have a player like that on the roster then he should be getting the ball every play, especially when his team is struggling. Been very impressed with the way he has stepped up a gear to keep the spurs momentum going.
When TD's playing well it don't matter who plays next to him we'd make the playoffs.
here's to hoping for another MVP like season!!!
