Spurs at Suns 1/31/08

Post#1 » by Ballings7 » Thu Jan 31, 2008 6:28 am

TNT

Let's just win

Been playing pretty bad lately, but tonight is tonight, not the past.

Can definitely see us losing this, though.

I'm just going to enjoy the game, basically

If healthy, we'd beat these guys like it's the playoffs.

But, we're not. So we'll probably lose.

I'm not your boy. Kidding around or not, that doesn't have any credibility because of the small amount of times we've actually posted to eachother.

On the signature, it's not silly to me, it's a strange, interesting, and bold quote to me, so I wanted to display it.

As far as the wager, no. I was actually thinking lately anyway that I'm going to change it soon. You'll get what you want then.

Also, since you're asking for a wager to take it down, as a suggestion, just put me on ignore for a bit so you don't have to see it.

I gotta be honest with ya. I like D'Antoni's moustache', I think it adds a lot of character to his face.

As for the Suns I think the Spurs are gonna be a little overmatched.
Yesterday I said some nasty things about the Spurs, so Randy and I have added them to our list.
Now it's my job to help turn the Spurs around.

i have no doubt that your current form will mean nothing in this game as both these teams will be pumped to play each other

im expecting spurs to be fired up for this one

my prediction is the spurs to get 21 offensive boards - suns 6, but suns win by 5

good luck guys,

my comment was tongue in cheek, duely noted that you dont appreciate levity.

and why would i put you on ignore? your posts are generally balanced and logical. for instance, im sure you will not allow the absence of tony to be used as an excuse tonight, just as you've argued that the injuries and suspensions the suns have had bear no impact on the playoff results of the last 3 seasons.

Suns by 13..I'm not going to believe in this team without Parker, or even with Parker, until they give me an effort I can be proud of..

I didn't mean it in a harsh way, just a direct, explanational way. Can take like it the former if you please, but that wasn't my intention.

hey guy... raps fan here.. am a big Spurs fan.. always watch their games whenever I can. This game is ugly. The spurs seem an old, old team this year. Something's gotta change. You guys need an injection of youth and athleticism, specially at the 4 spot. I suggest the spurs somehow get involved in th Charlie V sweepstakes. Poor defender but heck of an offensive player. Would look real good playing alongside Timmy and would inject the lineup with athleticm and a good inside/outside game.

Game is ugly, but not bad for the Spurs. Only down six considering the circumstances. If anything, it's not that good for the Suns. Aside from the 6-point lead.

I'm not worried about the age, really, becuase it's just a one year difference. Getting younger is on the horizon in Splitter and Mahinmi, a couple new guys in the off-season, and possibly the draft. Also, I can't go against the likelyhood of the level of play being raised when the weather is warmer. Which is what matters most.
