I am indifferent to it... You take the good with the bad. He is a physical guy to sole purpose is to defend the living hell out of other players.
I am more concerned with our recent play. We are getting stagnant in our sets. Bowen doesn't really help us out when we go thru the dry spell.

Not surprised - just part of the more strict (softer) NBA

But did you guys see the second video. THere was no contact with the knee. It actually looks like Bowen is pullling his leg away and not even looking at Paul as he moves his leg. It also does look like Paul does take a jab at Bowen's family jewels. I'm not accusing anyone, I'm just saying it looks a LOT different from the second angle.
ALSO, why doesn't CP3 get up angry? He gets up and looks like he is trying to act innocent. He has his hands behind his back with a "what did I do face". If Bowen had hit him, I expect he would be angry and charging and screaming at Bowen, but that was not the case.
Anyhow, those were just some observations. I hope this does spark the Spurs however. It lets them forget about the streak and now Bowen can rest if he has to. I think this suspension is a based a bit more on his past history than the actual act this time. Bowen has done a few things that were borderline and perhaps even crossing the line a few times and this does hopefully get some of the "he needs to be suspended" talks to rest.

I think the second vid pretty much proves his innocence
...so I guess the streak ends at 500

Isn't Udoka out tonight, as well? This doesn't look good for us.

That 2nd video really shows it well, from Paul (clear shot to Bowen's crotch), and Bowen's contact.
Definitely changes my view on this, but I still can understand why Bowen was suspended (from the league stand-point).
Jason Terry got suspended for punching Finley in the crotch in G5 of the 06 playoffs...

Rockets fan here. Bowen shouldn't be suspended for that IMO. The contact wasn't intentional if anything. He was just trying to chase the ball.

I believe Bowen was innocent as well. Especially from seeing it 20 more times. I honestly think that the league suspended Bowen because of his reputation.

he's a dirty player, i'm glad he got suspended. There is a lot of ankle injuries he's caused cuz of his stupid foot being in the way.

The league and it's players have gone soft...Rick Mahorn, Charles Oakley, Anthony Mason, Rodman...these guys were all as physical as Bowen is.

Bowen needs to get the Danny Fortsen treatment. Dude was practically forced out of the league by the refs.

i believe that nothing really happened this play to warrant a suspension but i agree with the politic move...
