i know there were a few spurs fans that wanted gilbert. probably not a lot considering how we already have an allstar PG. but i guess this officially ends the pipe dream. very classy move by gilbert to take a paycut to keep a team together. the very attitude us spurs fans are spoiled with imo.

Yeah I don't even see why he'd be on our radar. He's a volume shooter and he's injury prone. I really like him as a player but I don't see how he fits into our system.
I could see him going to somewhere like the Heat, where he could tandem with Wade and Matrix (if he re-signs).
I think if he does move he'll go to one of the bigger markets.
