I think I can speak on behalf of all Spurs fans by simply saying...whatever.

I've watched sports for a long time, never have I met fans as colectively annoying as Suns fans..
Note: There are a handful that this does not apply to.

The playoffs are coming up. While most teams are sorting out their rosters, the Suns media and fanbase are preparing for what they do best: whine like a 4 year old girl with a skinned knee.
When the Suns get eliminated in the playoffs this year, it won't be because the other team was better. There'll be an excuse. There's always an excuse.

yeah...somehow I hope they just win it all...hopefully that would make them shut up!
then again: would be sooo sweet to kick them out again! (maybe in round one)

I'm more mixed on Phoenix this year against us, I think they'd have a legit chance to beat us this time. Whereas the last 3 years, I just don't think they did/would have (2006).
Now, I may be taking the last two games against them into consideration too much.
But regardless, I'm some more wary of them than before, and I'd prefer to play Dallas/Houston/Utah in R1 instead. But if it comes down to the Suns, we still have a credible chance to win, and I think somewhat of an edge.

It doesn't matter who they have in any round, the Spurs defense is great, but if they run into droughts in the playoffs, they're screwed, it's very simple.

I'd be surprised if that continues in the playoffs. Aside from a game like Utah G3 and Phoenix G2 last year a bit.

This is an even year.....you have enjoyed your glory...if the Suns can defeat the mythical Spurs in the first round, I hope to add all Spurs fans to the Suns bandwagon as I have supported the Spurs after our recent defeats..Let us band against the evil Lakers and Mavericks!
as always, just for fun and best of luck to all of us

Regardless of beating the Spurs, Phoenix has to go through the west and beat Boston or Detroit in the finals

If the Spurs lose I'm on the Celtics bandwagon. Actually, I'm already on it.

I'm not. I refuse to recognize the 'greatness' in New York Yankee built teams.
There is something to be said about teams that can take non-allstars, find a role for them and develop them into a winning system. A good example would be the New Orleans Hornets, Tyson Chandler was nothing more than a roleless role player with the Bulls and now he is a legit baller. Peja and Bonzi were not KG or Ray Allen caliber superstars and they play into the Hornets system very well. I think another good example would be the Dallas Mavericks, pre-Jason Kidd trade.
Just my humble opinion.

If not us, I'll go for anybody but Phoenix/Dallas/Lakers.

If not us, I want Detroit. I don't 'like' Detroit, per se... but I respect the hell out of them.

Undestand all those points and I'm really just cheering for KG. Since he's on the Celtics, I'm cheering for them by default.
I don't care for the Celtics but they aren't one of my hated teams (Lakers, Knicks, Utah).
