Here's the thing here. Either way, the Spurs and Jazz will meet in the first round of the playoffs. However, if the Spurs are to lose tonight, they will lose homecourt advantage and move down to fifth with a tie against Utah. What should the Spurs do?

Really? I thought if we win we'll meet Phoenix, but if we lose we face Utah as said.

But yeah, I just have this feeling were going to win this game and go strong into the playoffs. Regardless of the result, I won't ultimately be disappointed.

If Spurs win, and Rockets win and Suns win, Spurs vs Phoenix with HCA
Spurs win, rockets win, suns lose, spurs vs Suns with hca
Spurs win, rockets lose, suns win, spurs vs rockets with hca
spurs win, rockets lose, suns lose, spurs vs suns with hca

Spurs lose, rockets win, suns win, vs Jazz without hca
Spurs lose, rockets win, suns lose, vs rockets with hca
Spurs lose, rockets lose, suns win, vs vs Suns without hca
Spurs lose, rockets lose, suns, lose, vs rockets with hca

hca = Home court advantadge

When is the last time the Clippers have won a game. Or at leaast tried to win one. We've put ourselves in a bad spot.

Looks like we have the suns with HCA if Manu plays. But even that's not for sure.
If we lose tonight and drop to 6th and everyone else wins do we get Houston or the suns.

Houston without the HCA would be wonderful. I'd take Houston with all the games in Houston .... lolol

The suns in the 1st round would be tougher than any series we had on the way to the title last year in my humble opinion. The Suns are a matchup nightmare designed to beat us.

So do you guys think Pops will be playing Duncan tonight? Think he cares more about rest or seeding?

Yeah, fantasy question, but if it helps, Duncan has lead my team to the finals and is looking good for a win (especially if he plays). :D

Looks like Pop wants to sendUtah an early message:

A sign that tonight's season finale against Utah remains significant for the Spurs: Manu Ginobili is expected to play.

Ginobili has missed the past three games with a strained groin, and coach Gregg Popovich vowed to play it safe with his leading scorer. The last thing he wanted was an injured Ginobili heading into the postseason.

After shootaround this morning, Popovich sent word through team spokesman Tom James that Ginobili is likely to give it a go.

We'd guess it didn't take too much convincing from Ginobili.

It's an important game for the Spurs. A victory would make the difference between opening the playoffs at home, or going on the road -- most likely against the Jazz or Suns.

Ginobili shouldn't play against Utah, not right before the playoffs, they're very physical, but they obviously want home court, so here's to a good game tonight and hopefully a solid win.

I wanna see you guys in the playoffs bad (no offense or anything). If we do meet in the playoffs than it's gonna be a damn good series. Anyways, as far as tonight goes, good luck to you guys.

Whatever happens I am sure that Pop will have the the team ready. I don't want to lose given that we have the ungodly streak vs Utah and that it is a huge mental hurdle for them to overcome. I mean they couldn't even beat us without TD the last game in SA.

I rather see the Spurs win tonight to keep home court advantage. With that in mind, bring the noise tonight and whoever they have to face in round 1 of the playoffs. Bring the noise to their door, knock it down, get those 4 "Ws" and keep going forward.

Good start, we came out with a purpose.

It's still early, though. Very early.
