The Sonics getting hijacked from Seattle

Well, today the owners voted to approve the move from Seattle to OKC by a 28-2 margin, pretty sad.
This could easily be the Spurs 5 years after the Duncan era ends. We've been fortunate as a franchise that we haven't had a couple losing seasons in a row in over 20 years, but what happens when our new arena is suddenly outdated 10 years after it was built and our team is on the wrong side .500? The owners vote was a vote not to move the Sonics to OKC, but to support the notion that a city's taxpayers are responsible for building new arenas every decade or so. It's a harsh reality for the true NBA fans who care to see their hometown team stay in that city.
